On July 22, 2025, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) declared that federal disaster aid with individual assistance has been made available to counties in West Virginia to supplement recovery efforts in the areas affected by Severe Storms, Straight-line Winds, Flooding, Landslides, and Mudslides on June 14, 2025-June 15, 2025.
